With the latest solo release from Patrick Donohue (aka THE P-DON), the HEROES OF HISTORY front man steps away from the mic and sits down to regale fans with a collection of new murder ballads titled, "SONGS OF DEATH, Pt. 1". Patrick's songwriting ability has birthed forth a new take on a classic folk tradition; the harrowing tales of love lost and souls tormented. Aptly recorded in his "Bug Not" home studio, these tracks allow the listener to enter inside the mind of a writer intent on forcing the audience to actually sit down and comprehend these tales of death and destruction. The album is expected to drop nationally sometime before November 2006. DEAD AND/OR FAMOUS was recorded at Columbus Discount Recording and mastered in Chicago by Chris Shepard. PANIc PANDa

Lookey what we found in the 'ole VSSR archive vaults; the one and only release from power-pop duo PANIC PANDA. "EATS, SHOOTS, & LEAVES" was recorded by Crow (MORS, PARIAH, VC) and collaborator Bo Kimh in their home studio last winter. The album showcases the world's of minimalistic beats and blatant stuffed-animal lovelust. PANIC PANDA creates an eerily soft sound and even puts a new spin on a couple of MORS ONTOLOGICA classics. HEROEs Of HISTORy

Ladies and Gentleman I give to you; HEROES OF HISTORY. As the newest member of the Very Small Scene, the boys are set to release their debut full-length, "You'll Love Us When We're Dead". DJ_S So you have found that special someone and now you need some tunes to set the love in motion? Well look no further, we here at the VSSR present DJ_S. Let the soulful beats and hip house melodies caress your weathered being. As the summer months roll on we will be releasing 4 DJ_S albums, including Dan's new 2005 comp-mix, the very personal 26 track amalgamation and 2 classic DJ_S sets (Spooning Tunes and Slanty Streetz). In the live setting Dan is a master of the turntable and a rebel-rouser on the floor. While on residency in South Korea we know he's spreading the love overseas. KEVIN DIPPOLD

Huddled amongst cavernous racks of gear and armed with the tools of passion and creativity, Kevin Dippold is part of a growing community of self made producers (the ultimate artists/auteurs). For years Kevin has been playing guitar and songwriting for the ever evolving outfit WALLACES LINE. Now Mr. Dippold has offered up some of his newest recordings, and his hardcore work ethic and extreme production abilities have paid off. A select few of his new solo tracks are available for download in the VSSMusic section and may also be heard on the new updated VSSRadio.

HAVYNa

The midwest has yet to receive the notoriety that it so deserves and that is why here at the VSS we shine our searchlight on Columbus prog-rockers HAVYNA. These boys have been recording and producing their own blend of prog-rock-metal for years. Featuring Kenny Caterer on lead guitar and vocals, Kenan Edler on drums and the recent addition of Jeff Wiseman (MORS ONTOLOGICA) on bass guitar. We are honored and deeply moved here in the VSSR to have unleashed yet another solo project debut. This time Marcello (a.k.a CROW) has stepped up to the plate with a hard-hittin' serving of minimalistic techno mixed with hard breaks and electro beats. It's a throwback to the days of FUGGY, yet PARIAH introduces us to new sounds and frequency's not previously discovered in the grey matter area.
